Description

The configuration of Veronte Autopilot for UAT Unmanned Aerial Targets and target drones permits to have a completely autonomous control system for controlling moving targets. This control system offers high performance for all kind of targets, operating in air, sea or ground, maximizing operation performance with a cost effective control system.

Thanks to the modularity of the system, it is possible to have both versions; basic configurations, for low cost UAT Unmanned Aerial Targets, as well as high performance systems, including functionalities such as: advanced maneuvers, satellite communications, accurate height control, safety systems,...

In addition, Veronte installs sensors for the operation in conditions of high accelerations and speeds (magnetometers, redundant accelerometers, GPS module, dynamic and static pressure, gyroscopes), enabling the operation of UAT Unmanned Aerial Targets with speeds over 1.000Km/h and continued maneuvers with accelerations up to 16G. Similarly the system accepts a wide range of external sensors, with the possibility of being integrated for specific applications.

Advanced Maneuvers

Set custom maneuvers for the development of complex missions: Seaskimming, fast tracks, evasive maneuvers, ... All of them being part of the automatic control of the mission, developing fully autonomous operations. Furthermore, the operator can take manual control of the UAT Unmanned Aerial Target at any time during the operation.

High Performance Sensors

Veronte Autopilot embeds a series of high-performance sensors for the development of high demanding missions: turns of 500º/s, maintained accelerations of up to 16G, speeds of over of 1000 Km/h ... The system also has auxiliary data inputs for the integration of additional sensors in the UAT Unmanned Aerial Targets: IMU, altimeter, redundancy, ...

Safety Zones and Obstacles

The definition of the mission permits to configure both obstacles, where the UAT Unmanned Aerial Target never enter even if the mission is defined in that way, and safe flight areas, activating a security protocol or maneuver in case the UAV exceed defined limits.

Flare Activation

Procedures for activating flares and other devices can be defined in both; manual and automatic modes, having auxiliary means to prevent accidental arming of the devices. Also, with the integration of Veronte Pyro it is possible manage high intensity loads without additional electronics on the UAT Unmanned Aerial Targets.

Operation from Mobile Platforms

Thanks to the integration of relative missions, it is possible to configure a flight plan in which all or part of the mission is performed relatively to a mobile platform. The selected part of the mission will move with the control station or other device. This functionality also enables landing of the UAT Unmanned Aerial Targets on mobile platforms.

Safety

Veronte Autopilot has been developed according to aeronautical standards DO254 and DO178 / ED12, complying with the strictest standards in the industry. Furthermore, Veronte is available in versions with double and triple redundancy, in case it is required for the operation of the UAT Unmanned Aerial Targets or by the authorities.
